Stephen Friedman Gallery | From Near and Far: Collage and Figuration in the Contemporary Age

Gallery hours: Tuesday–Friday, 10am–6pm, Saturday 11am–5pm

Location: 30 Old Burlington Street, Mayfair, London

Curated by Katy Hessel, art historian and founder of The Great Women Artists, and artist Deborah Roberts this exhibition at Stephen Friedman Gallery is comprised of 16 contemporary female artists exploring figuration though collage. Standout works include Amy Sherald's, 'A Golden Afternoon' & Deborah Roberts', 'Mud Pie'.

South London Gallery | The Show is Over

On until September 4th 2022

Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 11am-6:00pm

Location: 65 Peckham Rd, London

The Show is Over is comprised of sixteen international artists and works towards new ways of interpreting political histories and personal experiences connected to the aftermath of historical violence. With layered installations the exhibition urges viewers to reflect and reconnect in new ways, contributing to a new vocabulary to live and dream with.

Ben Hunter Gallery | Mimicries

Hours: Monday - Friday, 11am-5:00pm

Location: 44 Duke Street St James's London

Curated by Jan Tumlir and Jeffrey Stuker, this group show at Ben Hunter Gallery includes works that invite us to reflect on forms of artifice that are not reserved for the artist, but that extend through the entirety of the natural as well as technological worlds.

Sign Systems is a group exhibition by Unit London exploring concept of representation and the creation of meaning. Exploring the intersection between text and image the exhibition encapsulates the notion of language as a whole, expanding past traditional text.
